Moon wisdom: following the rhythms of nature

The cycles of the Moon have a powerful influence on the body, mind and emotions. The body is mostly made up of water and we are all influenced by the Moon just as the tides and plants are affected in nature. As the Moon pushes and pulls the tides, we are also influenced through the effect on our body fluids and cells.

Depending on how hydrated you are and how balanced your electrolytes are, a full moon particularly can cause aggravation for people in the nervous system and cellular tissue. If the body is lacking in water and has a deficiency in potassium or magnesium, it will get stressed at particularly strong gravitational pulls such as full moon and lunar eclipses. Staying well hydrated will help you remain more balanced through the Moon cycles.
